At Rancho DM we are passionate about horses, we tend, feed, care about our horse’s health and nurture like one of ours. We are located in Villa Gonzales, Santiago Dominican Republic. The country’s first capital, Today, the Dominican Republic’s second largest city–affectionately dubbed “Ciudad Corazón” or the city in the heart of the Cibao Valley–is a modern and cosmopolitan center thriving in commerce, finance, education, services, and pulsating with culture. Rancho DM is within minutes of the Airport “Aeropuerto Internacional del Cibao”, accessible by taxi / Uber. At Rancho DM we have plenty to offer; peace, total relaxation, site seeing, family activities, fresh homemade cultural food, beautiful view of the countryside. Hiking trails available being that the “Cordillera Septentrional” is within short distance of the ranch. A mountain range that runs parallel to the north coast. The cordillera’s highest point is Diego de Ocampo mountain at 1,250 metres (4,100 ft), located near Rancho DM. Enjoy beautiful trails and horseback riding. Choose from relaxing walk only rides, walk & trot rides, and exhilarating advanced level walk, trot, & canter rides. . For your safety, each trail ride is accompanied by several experienced wranglers. Our horses breed are of “Paso Higueyano” consisting of a mix of different breeds such as: Quarter Horses, Berber, Narangassette, Tennese Walking & Morgan. A special breed for comfort, durability & stability for long trips.
