About Joanne Mendoza, MD
Dr. Mendoza, a hospitalist at CHKD, is originally from Zimbabwe where she first developed a passion for pediatrics and global health. She moved to the United States to attend Messiah University in Pennsylvania and then attended medical school at Penn State University College of Medicine. Dr. Mendoza completed a pediatric residency and then a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Emory University where she began her career.
