About Benjamin L. Mason, MD Benjamin L. Mason, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. After earning his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, he completed an ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. Dr. Mason’s professional eye care affiliations include the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
